DCSD Summer Summit 2026

I'm just in love with learning! I have been in IB schools for about 13 years and have been exploring concept-driven teaching and learning. I started my career as a music teacher and that gave me such great understanding of planning. I continue to learn more about engagement strategies to include protocols to make learning visible. I have loved my years learning how to teach reading and have loved being a part of problem-solving teams to engage learners in academic and behavioral interventions. I suppose my big WHY is I am driven by a purpose to remove barriers and to help others identify and remove barriers as well. Lastly, I like to attempt to make complex ideas simple to understand. Can't wait to join with you in learning.
